We are a group that loves God and loves each other! Our goal is to seek the heart of Jesus... to reach those who are hurting and lost... and to connect with other believers no matter the age, race, sex, or worldly status. Southside's Youth Ministry is led by a team of adult/parent volunteers supported by our deacon over youth, Matt Ledbetter. We welcome you to visit us at the Southside Church of Christ. We want to be a support to your family. We also want to help you connect with other families who go through the same struggles and celebrations in life.

 

There are several things that we do throughout the year to reach our goals.

  • We sponsor our own youth camp at Camp Joy.

  • We are involved with several service projects.

  • We take mission trips to Huntsville Inner City, Kentucky, Georgia, Honduras & etc..

  • We attend devotionals with other congregations around Bedford Co. & surrounding counties.

  • We attend the Challenge Youth Conference, Evangelism University, WINTERFEST, and Bible Bowl.

  • We have faith building opportunities for all ages on Sunday mornings as well as Sunday & Wednesday nights.

 

While these are only some of the many things we are involved in, they do not define us. We are a group that wants to have our faith perfected by our deeds. James 1:18-26 Not to obtain salvation, but to show we have been united with Christ! Romans 6
