Lessons from Hannah: A Woman of Faith
The story of Hannah, Samuel's mother, is one of the most remarkable stories of the Old Testament. Samuel would become a prophet and a judge and lead Israel for most of his life. God would use him in many amazing ways. We read her story, and the beginning of his, in 1 Samuel 1-2:11.
These are lessons from Hannah that we should learn and take to heart in our own life of faith:
- People of Faith Endure Real Problems.
- People of Faith Pray Personal Prayers.
- People of Faith Accept What God Provides.
- People of Faith Keep Their Promises.
- People of Faith Express Their Praises.
I would encourage you to read Hannah's story and reflect on these lessons from her life. I hope we can all apply them in our ongoing faith journeys with God.
